Hello World !

The first post is usually the most difficult one. Well, it is time to describe what this little blog will be all about. My name is Robert and I am a Viennese since my birth although I am currently living a little bit outside of Vienna, Austria.

Two years ago I realised that I sometimes know less than a tourist about my hometown - that should not happen. So I am informing me about the historical background of Vienna and try to walk throuth the town with the eyes wide opened. This has increased since my family started a small apartment rental service. I am helping with the bookings and I show the apartments to our guests. So I am often asked about "insider information".

The goal of this blog is to share my knowledge about sightseeing, all the objects of interest, public transport, accomodation, ... all the things you need for your trip to Vienna.
